Vestas Off Campus Hiring – Trainee
Responsibilities
The mentioned manufacturing operations management systems and tools are essential for ensuring smooth operations in our factories worldwide. As a member of the Global IT Support team, your role would involve the following activities:
Support Perspective
Timely management of incidents and support requests.
Understanding Vestas’ business processes and operational methods.
Providing Level 1 support to users of the systems.
Maintaining high customer satisfaction levels for these systems.
Completing all tasks assigned by shift supervisors or line managers.
Shadowing senior staff members, asking questions, and assisting where needed.
Enhancing practical, analytical, and critical-thinking skills through hands-on experience.
Operations Perspective
Keeping up with technological advancements and industry trends to improve skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Staying informed about new developments and upgrades in the systems.
Conducting regression testing related to system maintenance, improvement, and release deployment.
Managing the deployment of packages and builds to test and production servers.
Monitoring IT issues with urgency to ensure proper prioritization and resolution.
Preparing knowledge base articles.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Fresh graduates (2023/2024) or individuals with a minimum of one year of support experience.
A can-do attitude with attention to detail.
Experience with manufacturing/shop-floor applications is advantageous.
Exposure to ERP tools (SAP PP/MM modules) is a plus.
