Job Description


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.



  • Assist in analyzing requirements and identifying any gaps.
  • Estimate based on requirements and complexity.
  • Prepare technical specification documents.
  • Submit estimates for review.
  • Conduct feasibility and impact analysis and submit for review.


  • Analyze allocated tasks and understand both low-level and high-level designs.
  • Write code according to the finalized technical specification document.
  • Follow coding standards and best practices to ensure code quality.
  • Submit developed code for review and rework based on feedback if necessary.
  • Identify and prepare unit test cases and test data based on the design.
  • Perform unit testing and fix defects identified during this phase.
  • Document unit test results and share them for review.
  • Provide periodic status updates to the supervisor and suggest changes in design based on development challenges.
  • Assist in preparing the code review document.


  • Coordinate with the QA team during the testing phase.
  • Address QA queries within defined timelines.
  • Investigate defects and determine the need for fixes.
  • Fix defects identified during functional and non-functional testing.
  • Understand the impact and criticality of defects and handle them accordingly.
  • Report defect status as per project standards within agreed timelines.
  • Fix defects identified during UAT within agreed timelines and submit revised code for review.

Deployment Support & Closure:

  • Prepare knowledge transfer documents for the support team.
  • Conduct allocated transition tasks as per timelines.
  • Provide assistance and address queries during the warranty period.
  • Respond promptly during production and fix defects as required.
  • Create transport code based on the fix and share activity status, highlighting any concerns.

Service Support & Maintenance:

  • Attend user calls to capture required information and incident details.
  • Make necessary code changes and run appropriate tests.
  • Resolve incidents and close tickets within the defined SLAs.
  • Develop solutions for errors and transfer them to change management.
  • Make minor code changes as needed and share the solution with the product owner for review.
  • Validate permanent fixes and close problems after rollout to production.

Knowledge Management:

  • Create specific artifacts for allocated tasks.
  • Share artifacts with the supervisor for review and upload them to the knowledge management repository.
  • Use the knowledge repository to resolve problems and apply best practices to own code.

Training & Recruitment:

  • Provide input in creating training courses and supporting materials like demos and presentations.
  • Conduct small training sessions.
  • Conduct technical interviews and support the recruitment process.

    • Understand the functional aspects of clients’ requirements.
