Job Description – Software Engineer, Associate

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate within an Agile team to develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements.
• Design and develop new product features, modules, and functionalities, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered within project timelines.
• Analyze and solve complex technical challenges by proposing innovative solutions to enhance product capabilities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, tooling enhancements, and best practices to optimize development workflows.
• Participate actively in unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure the reliability and robustness of the product.
• Mentor and support a team of developers to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Encourage knowledge sharing and continuous learning among team members to enhance overall capabilities.
• Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality, ensure adherence to coding standards, and promote best practices.
• Assist the team in troubleshooting complex technical issues and guide towards efficient resolutions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Proficiency in .NET technologies, particularly with the C# programming language.
• Experience working with Databases and SQL, including MySQL or MS SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with Microservice-based solutions and architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, CloudFormation, etc.
• Proficient with CI/CD processes, including Gitlab/Github Pipelines.
• Ability to quickly grasp concepts, analyze problems, and provide innovative solutions.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing.

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• Experience with at least one of the following: JavaScript, Angular2, AngularJS, jQuery.
• Familiarity with Azure along with AWS is considered a plus.
