Job Description

Role Overview:

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and resolve Key Risk Indicator exceptions related to GRS-Nostro, Depot, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Regulatory Client Money Reporting. It also involves ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of daily tasks and supporting business initiatives and change management.

  • Meet all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) within the specified timelines.
  • Conduct daily reconciliations and manage breaks according to established standards.
  • Adhere to the AO&R Policy and General Ledger Controls Framework.
  • Exhibit integrity, initiative, and commitment in interactions with colleagues and clients.
  • Prepare reconciliation templates and discuss open items with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide relevant information for ongoing reconciliation and Management Information activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, principles, and procedures.
  • Collect and analyze financial data from various reports and systems.
  • Apply analytical skills to derive meaningful insights.
  • Support change projects as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to SOX and Operational Risk Controls.
  • Participate in conference calls and manage customer expectations.
  • Identify and implement areas for improvement to enhance customer service.
  • Focus on developing and implementing best practices.
  • Challenge the status quo and manage quality within your work area.

Qualifications:

  • B.Com or MBA with relevant experience.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to manage ad hoc requests efficiently.
  • Strong control mindset.
  • Self-motivated and a good team player.
  • Delivery-focused with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of the reconciliation trade life cycle within the investment banking environment.
  • Minimum qualification: B.Com Graduation Degree / MBA (Finance) / Post Graduation / CA Inter.

Skills:

  • Experience in reconciliation, break management, and regulatory reporting for Nostro, Depot, and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Strong accounting skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
