Understand test requirements and design test cases for the product/platform/solution
Author test plans based on business requirements and corresponding testable requirements
Implement Wipro’s way of testing using model-based testing to achieve efficient test generation
Ensure peer review of test cases and minimize rework
Work with the development team to identify and capture test cases, and ensure correct version
Set criteria, parameters, scope, and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT)
Automate the test life cycle process using VB macros, scheduling, GUI automation, etc.
Design and execute the automation framework and reporting
Develop and automate tests for software validation by setting up test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases, and executing them
Ensure test defects are as per norms defined for project/program/account with clear descriptions and replication patterns
Detect and report bug issues and test progress
Ensure no instances of rejection or slippage of delivered work items and that they are within Wipro/Customer SLAs and norms
Design and timely release a test status dashboard at the end of each cycle test execution to stakeholders
Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk, and report it to relevant stakeholders
Report testing status and focus on customer needs
Ensure good quality of interaction with the customer regarding email content, fault report tracking, voice calls, business etiquette, etc.
Deliver on-time reports and updates in test management repositories
Update accurate efforts in project-related trackers
Respond to customer requests in a timely manner and avoid complaints both internally and externally
