Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver web-based applications and services using Java backend technologies such as Java 8, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Deliver new features and improvements in a fast-paced environment as part of a growing engineering team.
  • Mentor other developers on web, backend, and system development.
  • Constantly evaluate the product’s architecture, performance, scale, and user experience.
  • Apply Object Oriented principles like SOLID, DRY in the development process.
  • Work closely with product managers and cross-functional groups to develop product requirements.
  • Research new technologies and incorporate their usage into new products or services.

Qualifications:

  • 0-3 years of experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong knowledge of Java 8, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
  • Familiarity with distributed event streaming platforms like Kafka.
  • Working experience in technologies like Elasticsearch.
  • Knowledge of distributed caching.
  • Exposure to Oracle database.
  • Good knowledge of data structures and distributed systems.

Good to have:

  • Experience in k8s, docker.
  • Knowledge of Reactjs/Redux.
