Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to data quality standards and architectural guidelines, delivering high-quality code within the given timelines
- Write scalable, maintainable, and testable code, participate in code reviews and design discussions
- Experiment with new and relevant technologies and tools, keeping up-to-date with data trends and best practices
- Design and implement data solutions, develop ETLs or similar data solutions in the Cloud to be deployed in AWS
- Have a good understanding of data processing tools (ETL), databases, cloud-based data services and platforms, distributed computing paradigm, and open-source data processing frameworks
- Be a go-to person for the above technologies
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Competencies:
- 0-2 years of total work experience with a BTech or MTech in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex and large-scale distributed problems
- Solid coding skills with knowledge of software engineering best practices, data design patterns, and standards
- Knowledge, understanding, and experience of working with data processing/ingestion tools and cloud data services, and at least one of the global cloud platforms AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
- Exposure to cloud Data warehouse like Snowflake and/or AWS Redshift preferred
- Good understanding of the data ecosystem, both current and future data trends
