Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Team Responsibilities:
Design and implement CI/CD pipeline into multiple public cloud regions.
Development and operation of common platform services for SaaS solutions.
Ensure the reliability and security of services and environments.
Monitor and support platform and infrastructure services.
Metrics collection and reporting.
Software Engineer Responsibilities:
Scope, design, and development of custom software solutions using Elastic Stack and Kubernetes on Azure.
Operate an Elasticsearch and Prometheus cluster.
Develop automation tools and services.
Occasional on-call work required.
Qualifications:
BS/MS in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 0-1 year of professional software development experience.
Experience with Elasticsearch and Prometheus cluster.
Knowledge of development operations tooling (e.g. trace-based application performance monitoring, docker containers).
Mentor junior team members and lead development work.
Working understanding of server-side language (Java preferred).
Experience with custom network services (HTTP, WebSockets, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in Linux/Unix Administration.
Prior on-call experience for services developed by the team.
Experience deploying services on Microsoft Azure.
Primary Skills:
Observability Tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus).
Server Side Language – Java Preferred.
Linux Administration and Shell Scripting.
Kubernetes and Docker.
Azure Pipelines – YML.
CI/CD.
Git.
Nice to Have Skills:
Azure Cloud Services (e.g. Azure Event Hub, Active Directory, Enterprise Apps, Power Shell).
