Job Title: Backend Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop highly-available and scalable architectures and backends.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to creatively solve complex problems.
  • Provide input and strategy for software architecture, testing, and deployment.
  • Drive the team to adopt best working practices in the Python and Django community.
  • Identify new opportunities to fine-tune and optimize products.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Solid experience with Python and Django.
  • Experience in building and deploying APIs.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and software architecture.
  • Experience with testing tools and practices.
  • DevOps experience on AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean or Heroku, etc.
  • Familiarity with basic security and infrastructure design.
  • Familiarity with Flask or Lambda and Serverless Python.
  • Familiarity with React, Angular or Vue.js.
  • Experience with CI/CD.
