Zeta Off Campus Hiring 2024 – Software Development Engineer I
The Role:
We develop large-scale transaction processing systems compatible with current and future payment networks. Our applications enable banks to realize and deliver value quickly and efficiently to their customers.
Your Responsibilities:
- Building a highly scalable and secure payments platform.
- Collaborating with various product teams to gather requirements and enhance capabilities.
- Utilizing advanced cryptography to secure payments, exceeding industry standards.
- Extracting actionable insights from terabytes of data.
- Developing low-level infrastructure aimed at enhancing network performance.
- Identifying patterns and offering solutions to common problems.
- Researching, evaluating, and promoting new tools, technologies, and techniques to enhance system value.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering with over a year of experience in developing enterprise systems.
- Experience with one or more large-scale Java applications.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and availability.
- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases and transaction processing.
- Keen focus on service latency and throughput.
- Deep knowledge of concurrency, synchronization, NIO, memory allocation, and garbage collection.
- Experience with IaaS clouds like AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, OpenStack, etc.
- Experience working with message brokers and application containers.
