Job Description
Yext – Software Engineer – 2
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring they function seamlessly across various browsers and devices.
- Provide guidance to engineering and business teams on best practices, compatibility considerations, and technical trade-offs.
- Enhance development tools to boost code quality, speed up iteration cycles, and improve maintainability with modern technology.
- Collaborate effectively between engineering and product teams, working closely with both Designers and Project Managers.
- Write organized, well-tested, and efficient code.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent educational background.
- Proficient with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Skilled in navigating both frontend and backend technologies with ease.
- Open to adopting new technologies and exploring creative solutions.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup setting.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with frameworks and languages like React, TypeScript, Go, or Java.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- 0–1 year of experience in software engineering.
