Position: Performance Testing Intern
Location: Bangalore, India
Performance Testing Job Responsibilities:
As a Performance Testing Intern, your primary role will involve conducting performance tests on smartphones and TVs.
Performance Testing Job Duties:
- Execute test plans for performance test cases.
- Set up test environments.
- Thoroughly document test results for both test and competitor devices.
- Develop and implement tests based on user feedback to address reproducible issues.
- Evaluate and analyze performance test results, as well as analyze bug reports and logs.
- Identify bugs, create bug reports, and manage the bug lifecycle through JIRA.
- Provide feedback on product usability and serviceability.
- Propose and implement improvements in automation test case development.
- Collaborate closely with beta users and external feedback in the Android Performance module, taking appropriate actions.
- Offer technical assistance as needed in Android technology.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Possess basic knowledge of testing concepts, software development life cycle (SDLC), software testing life cycle (STLC), and bug lifecycle.
- Have a good understanding of Android, mobile functionality, and basic principles of hardware modules.
- Familiarity with ADB commands in Android is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of bug lifecycle and experience with defect tracking systems like Jira and TestRail.
- Basic understanding of Android Python, ADB commands, and familiarity with Ubuntu is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
