Job Responsibilities and Professional Expertise :-

Do

  • Gain a thorough understanding of the test requirements and design test cases for the product.
  • Develop test plans based on business requirements and corresponding testable requirements.
  • Implement Wipro’s testing methodology, including model-based testing, to generate efficient test cases.
  • Ensure peer review of test cases to minimize rework.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and capture test cases, ensuring version control.
  • Establish criteria, parameters, and scope for testing, including involvement in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Automate the test life cycle process at appropriate stages using tools like VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation.
  • Design and execute the automation framework, as well as generate comprehensive reports.
  • Develop and automate tests for software validation by setting up test environments, designing test plans, creating test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing them.
  • Report test defects according to project/program/account norms, with clear descriptions and replication patterns.
  • Identify and report bug issues, preparing defect reports and tracking test progress.
  • Ensure no instances of rejection or slippage of delivered work items, adhering to Wipro/Customer SLAs and norms.
  • Design and release timely test status dashboards at the end of each test execution cycle for stakeholders.
  • Provide feedback on usability and serviceability, tracing results to quality risks, and reporting them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Regularly report the status to customers and maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction during testing and its execution.
  • Maintain professional and effective communication with customers through email, fault report tracking, voice calls, and business etiquette.
  • Deliver on-time reports such as Weekly Status Reports (WSRs), test execution reports, and relevant dashboard updates in the Test Management Repository.
  • Accurately update efforts in eCube, TMS, and other project-related trackers.
  • Respond promptly to customer requests and ensure there are no instances of complaints internally or externally.
