The Analytics and Innovation (Ai) team at United Airlines focuses on driving innovation, transformation, and solving complex business challenges through advanced analytics and deep cross-functional business expertise. We collaborate with various business and technology partners across the enterprise (e.g., Airport Operations, Contact Centers, Network Planning, Revenue Management, Digital Products, Human Resources, etc.) to influence strategic decisions, enterprise strategy, and business processes, while fostering connectivity across the organization. Responsibilities include:
Collaborating with business teams to identify improvement opportunities, gather and analyze data.
Delivering high-quality OR solutions with proper documentation to ensure seamless workflows and code-reusability.
Communicating insights effectively and presenting findings clearly to team leaders, managers, and stakeholders.
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and employment visa sponsorships, including time-limited visa status, are not available. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (ongoing/completed) in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Economics.
No prior industry experience required.
Strong OR fundamentals, including LP, MILP, MDP, and metaheuristics (such as GA and ACO).
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research or Industrial Engineering.
