Position: Customer Service Officer
Department: Ice Creams
Location: Thrissur
Job Description:
As a Customer Service Officer at Unilever, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Sales Achievement: Meet sales goals by personally engaging with the market and optimizing distribution networks.
- Distributor Management: Oversee both the front-end and back-end operations of the distributor system to ensure smooth functioning.
- Data Analysis: Regularly analyze Management Information System (MIS) reports to identify areas for improvement and opportunities in your assigned region.
- Negotiation & Training: Collaborate with distributors, helping them enhance customer management to increase business opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners to enhance our market presence, while also gathering and sharing market insights with the branch office.
- Market Positioning: Work on strategies to improve our competitive edge in the market by enhancing customer service.
- Performance Monitoring: Systematically track the performance of distributors and their sales teams, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- A minimum of a full-time bachelor’s degree.
- At least 2 years of experience in channel sales.
- Strong proficiency in Return on Investment (ROI) calculations and RS Distribution Management.
- Experience in RS appointment and sales planning.
- Ability to conduct and execute promotional activities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Good communication skills in English and the local language are preferred.
