Job Description – Tower Research Capital – ML Intern (Summer Internship 2024)

Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm established in 1998, is in search of an Intern to join our Core AI & Machine Learning team.

Responsibilities:

1. Development of data pipelines to clean, collect, process, and analyze various datasets.
2. Design and implementation of machine learning and LLM-based NLP models.
3. Execution of experiments and tests to assess model performance.
4. Contribution to the optimization and refinement of existing machine learning models.

Qualifications:

1. Possession of a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD (ongoing or completed) degree, or equivalent, from a reputable university, with availability for an in-office Summer Internship starting May 2024.
2. Mandatory prior experience in training, building, and deploying models using Tensorflow/Pytorch (or similar).
3. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and MLOps to automate model deployments.
4. Proficiency in Linux, SQL, Git, and BASH scripting.
5. Strong command of Python with practical experience.
