Job Description
TOPSOE Off Campus Hiring – Trainee
Trainee Role
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Continuously enhance and improve existing software applications.
- Provide support for the operation of current tools and applications, including planning their lifecycle and eventual replacement.
- Fulfill developer-related responsibilities, such as programming, preparing documentation, and contributing to knowledge sharing throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Goals:
- Focus on developing in-house software tools and applications using .NET technologies.
Required Competencies:
- Experience in managing development projects for complex applications built on C#.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Familiarity with ASP.NET, Azure Cloud, and database systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to escalate unresolved issues effectively to higher levels of support.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- A degree in Software Engineering (B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, or M.Tech) from a recognized national institute, with a consistently strong academic background.
- Alternatively, a degree in Chemical Engineering (B.E, B.Tech, or M.Tech) with experience in software application development is acceptable.
- Knowledge of chemical, process, or mechanical engineering, as well as manufacturing processes, is an added advantage.
- At least one year of IT experience. Candidates may include freelancers with significant experience or individuals returning to work after a career break, provided they are willing to begin as an IT Trainee.
