Key Responsibilities for Business Operations Consultant:
Support critical operational functions for professional services, including order processing, credits, time entry and billing, access requirements, quality assurance, reporting, and governance.
Create, review, and maintain operational documentation and communications.
Participate as an assigned team member to triage, route, respond to, or manage POM information channels, such as email, MS Teams, roundtable discussions, verbal communication, or other relevant flows as needed.
Assist with revenue management tasks, particularly around month-end research and resolution.
Exhibit creativity and provide feedback or suggestions for process improvements.
Actively contribute to operations discussions, tools, and resources in a timely manner.
Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
Key Responsibilities for Trainee:
Be comfortable working with numbers to distill complex corporate jargon into clear, engaging, and readable stories.
Write accurate, timely stories that prioritize fairness and balance, ensuring all perspectives are represented.
Exercise sound news judgment to distinguish between impactful news and PR material, prioritizing content that matters to an investment audience.
Develop and maintain a network of sources and contacts, including CEOs, PR professionals, and analysts from leading brokerage firms.
Identify trends and craft in-depth stories, features, or analyses that provide broader insights.
Adapt headlines, leads, and captions to suit the specific needs and preferences of the audience.
Maintain a keen interest in and expertise in monitoring international news wires, other outlets, and social media.
Eligibility Criteria:
Strong understanding of professional services business, including back-office processes, operations, and technologies.
Expertise in multiple tools with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Knowledge of O365 and Power Platforms.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proven track record of achieving results through process improvement.
Strong project management skills.
Proficient in developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish tasks.
