Key Responsibilities:

Data Understanding & Driving Insights

  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop a clear and independent perspective on internal and external data, accompanied by effective visualizations and actionable recommendations.
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into impactful technical specifications.

Advanced Data Analytics:

  • Assist senior team members in building data science solutions, which include:
    • Developing, validating, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models.
    • Creating interactive dashboards using Palantir Foundry.
    • Presenting findings and persuading the business using explainability and other techniques.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and apply generative AI techniques to uncover insights and trends for risk selection, differentiation, and cost improvements.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent fields.
  • Completed a data science course certification.

Professional Experience:

  • Possess a minimum of 1-4 years of experience in Data Science. Familiarity with big data technologies or platforms such as Azure, Databricks, or Palantir Foundry is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in building machine learning models, predictive and statistical modeling, time series forecasting, regression, and classification. Knowledge of generative AI and large language models (LLMs) is an additional advantage.
  • Reasonably familiar with building data engineering pipelines and data wrangling techniques.

Technical Skills:

  • Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data insights into effective visualizations for impactful communication.
  • Have applied these skills using real business data to develop insights and practical solutions.
  • Possess a good understanding of advanced machine learning methods, hyperparameter tuning, and techniques to avoid overfitting.
  • Proficient in statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R for Data Science) and SQL.
  • Capable of quickly learning big data platforms such as Azure Databricks or Palantir Foundry.
