Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong Oracle and/or MS SQL Server solutions, with experience in analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Create semantic models to support analytic tools like Power BI, incorporating hybrid models (in-memory and DirectQuery).
- Join a diverse team of developers responsible for delivering financial solutions across the Corporate Finance domain.
- Develop transactional and data warehouse solutions using various database products, primarily Oracle and SQL Server, and transitioning towards cloud database technologies such as Databricks and Snowflake.
- Work with product systems to acquire data for supporting reporting and analytics.
- Develop integrated solutions that provide users with a seamless experience across different financial platforms.
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure appropriate testing levels on both engineering and QA sides.
- Work collaboratively across teams within IT and Finance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Expertise as a Power BI Architect/Developer.
- Experience in data modeling and designing semantic models for direct or hybrid data access.
- Proficiency in Power Query, DAX queries, and performance tuning.
- Strong data visualization experience.
- Extensive SQL experience.
- Knowledge in security modeling within Power BI.
- Hands-on experience with SQL using Oracle or SQL Server.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in writing Windows batch scripts.
Preferred skills:
- Proficiency in OBIEE.
- Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL.
- Experience with cloud databases such as Snowflake and Databricks is a plus.
