Job Description – S&P Global Internship 2024 | Intern

Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities/Domain Related:

• Gather basic financial data, enrich it, and maintain it through client or in-house databases.
• Extract the required dataset from input/source documents into the necessary output template.
• Utilize tools and systems for timely delivery.
• Upload/remove reports as needed on client or in-house databases.
• Uphold data integrity and quality.
• Execute assigned tasks following instructions/guidelines and meeting required timelines.
• Ensure compliance with performance tracking mechanisms, organizational policies/procedures.
• Identify opportunities and propose ideas for process improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong specialization in finance or accounting.
• Effective communication skills (written & verbal) and proficient computer skills are essential.
• Willingness to work rotational night shifts.
• Ability to multitask and collaborate in a team environment, with flexibility to meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a persistent work approach.
• Proficiency in quantitative, analytical, and interpretive skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• Commerce Graduate/PGDM/MBA/M. Com/MFM.
• Eligible Streams: Any stream with Finance as a major or minor subject.
• Computer literacy: Proficiency in MS Office applications, with knowledge of macros considered advantageous.
• Positive attitude, keen interest in research, strong writing skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to interact effectively at various levels and address issues professionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
