Qualifications

To be successful in this traineeship you will: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
• Knowledge of Azure or AWS cybersecurity
• ​Knowledge of scripting such Python, Powershell, Databases
• Tenacious problem solver demonstrating an innate curiosity and passion for solving difficult problems
• Ability to quickly identify and analyze technical risks and impacts; define alternatives and prioritizations to remove roadblocks
• Strong written and oral communication skills; Highly motivated, self-starter
• Graduated from your bachelors’ degree within the last 24 months.
• Have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
• Be fluent in written and spoken English and have effective communication skills

Job Description & Responsibilities:

The Early Career Traineeship is designed for fresh graduates where Baker Hughes will train fresh talent who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a specific business. The traineeship duration is 12 months and will develop your technical knowledge and soft skills and provide on the job learning and exposure.

As part of our Early Career Traineeship, you will be involved in:

• Responsible for cyber security guidelines implementation for application hosted in Baker cloud infrastructure.
• Responsible for assisting customer and deployment team for implementing cybersecurity guidelines implementation for application hosted in Customer cloud.
• Define the framework and processes for Cyber security for application hosted in Baker infrastructure
• Define tools and processes needed for maintaining the security of the applications in consolation with Product Architecture team and Baker IT security team.
• Working with Architects, independent researchers, and in-house researchers to identify, rate, report and manage product vulnerabilities and incidents
• Engage in incident response methods lead incident response processes related to product cyber. Create and track meaningful metrics around product cyber risk and compensating controls for the infra and application.
• Create vulnerability and incident trend analysis to improve infrastructure
• Maintain cyber Bills of Material and conduct proactive vulnerability monitoring and assessment on cyber components
• Engage in application and domain-specific threat modeling and attack surface analysis/reduction
• Help prepare reports at appropriate levels of confidentiality for stakeholders to view
• Responding promptly and in detail to customer-sponsored penetration tests and customer queries and issues reported.
• Making system/images templates/containers available which are hardened and VAPT tested.
• Drive and lead for certifications such ISO 270001 OR SOC ,related issues.
• Enforce and execute user policies and procedures
• Coordinate 24/7 support team comprised of Baker Hughes employees and vendors. Coach and train, and support with high-complexity tasks
• Provide on-call support
• Ensure audits are getting planned and executed regularly and best practices are implemented based on feedback/outcome of audits.
• Interfaces with Application Arch, Security engineer, and Infra Architect to align implementations and drives outcomes through the eyes of customer success
