Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Software Engineer with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing flawless code. If you are dedicated to developing sustainable, scalable, and secure code for each application, while prioritizing customer needs, then you are the ideal candidate for our team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned engineers across our enterprise, with the potential to explore diverse automation technologies in the future. As a Python developer in the AI team, you will engage in various challenging projects, including physics-based complex models, lambda functions, automation pipelines, and object-oriented programming.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and convert business requirements into scalable and resilient designs.
- Take ownership of specific application components and consistently enhance them in an agile environment.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable products and applications using best engineering practices.
- Collaborate with fellow developers, sharing design philosophy and goals within the team.
- Work in cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Data, UX, and Testing.
- Establish and manage fully automated build/test/deployment environments.
- Ensure high availability and provide prompt resolutions to production issues.
- Contribute to the design of valuable, user-friendly, and desirable products within a team setting.
- Adapt to new programming languages, methodologies, platforms, and frameworks to meet business requirements.
Qualifications:
Requirements and Skills:
- Engineering graduate, preferably with a background in computer science or strong computer science fundamentals.
- Knowledge and experience in the following technologies:
- Languages: Python, Matlab, R, Object-Oriented languages (Java, C++, C#, JavaScript).
- Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS.
- Tools: Kubernetes (AKS), Databricks, Docker, Spark, OpenDataSoft, Git.
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design is essential.
- Experience with Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication, with the ability to articulate ideas concisely and clearly.
