Job Description
Job Summary:
The individual in this role is proficient in applying extensive knowledge of their technical discipline or advanced expertise in specific technical practices. They are tasked with identifying issues in existing systems and making modifications in accordance with defined work procedures. This operationally oriented position focuses on achieving day-to-day defined tasks while working closely under the supervision of a Team Lead or Project Manager.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The incumbent is accountable for the design, coding, testing, bug fixing, documentation, and technical support within the assigned area. Ensuring on-time delivery while adhering to quality and productivity goals is a key responsibility. Additionally, they must follow guidelines and checklists for all deliverable reviews, provide status reports to the team lead, and adhere to relevant organizational processes. Continuous improvement in technical capabilities is expected through activities such as attending trainings, engaging in self-study, and participating in periodic technical assessments.
Education and Experience Requirements: An engineering graduate, MCA, etc. Experience: 0-2 years
Competencies Description: The Data Engineering TCB (Technical Competency Base) applies to individuals who:
- Create databases and storage for both relational and non-relational data sources.
- Develop data pipelines (ETL/ ELT) to clean, transform, and merge data sources into a usable format.
- Build a reporting layer with pre-packaged scheduled reports, dashboards, and charts for self-service BI.
- Possess experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP in implementing data workflows.
- Demonstrate proficiency with tools including MongoDB, Hive, Hbase, Spark, Tableau, PowerBI, Python, Scala, SQL, ElasticSearch, etc.
