Job Details – Associate Technical Support Engineer


  • Offer advanced technical assistance via phone and web to clients of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Handle support cases daily, including those redirected from other regions.
  • Document all customer interactions and case details in Service Cloud.
  • Address customer-reported issues promptly, adhering to service level agreements.
  • Provide timely updates on issue resolution/status according to service level agreements.
  • Manage escalations and expectations for both customers and internal personnel.
  • Collaborate with technical support teams in other Salesforce Clouds when necessary.
  • Identify instances where professional services may be necessary.
  • Adhere to established support protocols and procedures.
  • Identify areas for enhancing customer experience.
  • Aid clients in maximizing their application platform usage through workflow guidance or by recognizing automation, proactive monitoring, and integration opportunities.
  • May involve working outside regular business hours, holidays, and some weekends, as this role is on-call.


  • Completed engineering degree in 2023.
  • Up to 12 months of professional experience.
  • Prior familiarity with Salesforce CRM,, Marketing Cloud, and related technologies is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Internet development technologies such as HTML, XML, API, and SQL is essential.
  • Knowledge of database and relational data structures is advantageous.
  • Experience with large-scale, multi-tenant production environments.
  • Competence in API programming or software development.
  • Understanding of software design lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated reliability, motivation, and ability to work independently as needed.
  • Previous exposure to scripting languages and/or APIs is a plus.
  • Prior experience with Marketing Cloud is beneficial.
  • Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
