Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with your team to design and execute in-depth analyses using SQL and Python, extracting valuable insights from large datasets within BigQuery.
Independently leverage your expertise in Tableau or Looker to create visualizations and presentations that translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations for merchants and internal teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to present your findings, influence product roadmaps, and shape the overall strategic direction of PayPal’s merchant relationships.
Build relationships with merchant partners, understand their unique needs and challenges, and provide tailored recommendations based on your data-driven insights.
Stay curious and proactive, exploring new tools and techniques to enhance your analysis capabilities and contribute to the team’s innovation efforts.
Eligibility Criteria:
Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, etc.) or possess equivalent work experience showcasing strong analytical skills.
Demonstrate proven proficiency in SQL, with the ability to extract and manipulate large datasets using tools like BigQuery.
Exhibit experience using Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and seamless integration with SQL workflows.
Show experience in using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Possess a natural curiosity and drive to identify and solve problems, coupled with the ability to turn data into strategic recommendations.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and the presentation of findings to stakeholders at all levels.
