Key Responsibilities for Trainee:
- Develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document reporting and analysis needs.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Create DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) queries to implement complex calculations and business logic within reports and dashboards.
- Optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards to ensure high efficiency and responsiveness.
- Assist in creating and enhancing data models to enable accurate reporting and analysis.
- Implement and manage data security measures in Power BI, including row-level security (RLS) and other access control mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reports, dashboards, and data sources.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and report navigation.
- Stay updated with Power BI advancements and industry trends to enhance business intelligence capabilities continuously.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and report creation.
- Proficient in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including data loading, modeling, and visualization.
- Expertise in DAX for building complex calculated fields, measures, and implementing business logic.
- Skilled in SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, etc.
- Familiar with ETL processes and data integration from multiple data sources.
- Ability to design interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in Power Query for data transformation and cleaning.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of additional BI tools and technologies, including Tableau or QlikView.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
