Job Description

Role: Contract to hire

We seek a proficient Python developer to enhance the performance of our web-based application. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with application developers, designing back-end components, and integrating data storage and third-party service providers with the web application and related solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code utilizing the Django framework.
• Design and implement data models and database schemas using SQL for storing and retrieving application data.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to merge user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Coordinate with data engineers and analysts to comprehend requirements and execute data processing pipelines using Pandas and PySpark.
• Enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability via code refactoring, database optimization, and system architecture enhancements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues reported in production environments.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously enhance software development processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Python (Django, SQL, Pandas, PySpark).
• Familiarity with AWS ETL services.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, or related field.
