OSI Systems Off Campus Hiring 2024 – Intern
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the test environment.
- Design test cases aligned with requirements and user stories.
- Perform assigned test runs and update the Test Case Management and Defect Tracking tools.
- Record defect details and link them to the relevant test cases.
- Complete tasks within deadlines, adhering to established processes.
- Engage in technical reviews to uphold product quality standards.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress and activities.
- Continuously enhance technical skills through training sessions, reading manuals, and exploring new tools.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive test reports.
- Develop automated test scripts with guidance.
Functional Skills
- Proficiency in using personal computers and software testing tools.
- Familiarity with screening and scanning technologies is advantageous.
- Experience in the security systems domain is an added benefit.
Specific Knowledge
- Understanding of Software Development and Testing Life Cycles, along with fundamental testing concepts.
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and software development practices.
- Ability to comprehend and manage test setups.
- Prior experience in test automation, especially with Selenium, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
Soft Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with effective teamwork skills.
- A proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development.
- Efficient time management and self-organization capabilities.
Qualifications
- A BE/B.Tech degree in EEE, ECE, CSE, or an MCA degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a significant advantage.
