Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop applications that meet client objectives and user needs effectively.
• Design and write code for applications, maintaining application databases.
• Analyze and edit existing software to optimize functionality, resolve issues, and ensure compatibility with new hardware platforms.
• Remodel and adapt applications to enhance performance as required.
• Identify specific client requirements and preferences related to the application.
• Conduct extensive testing to ensure applications are error- and bug-free.
• Install applications and serve as a technical advisor.
• Communicate with internal technical stakeholders to gather information on project limitations, performance requirements, and interfaces.
• Consult with clients during the design phase to understand their needs.
• Produce software documentation according to company software processes and templates.
• Participate in software product review meetings and team discussions.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in programming languages (e.g., Java, Perl, Python, C++) preferred.
• Scrum or Project Management certification is preferred.

• Knowledge and Attributes:
  • Hands-on expertise with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.
  • Experience with Java/J2EE 8+ and a solid understanding of core language features, including commonly used libraries like the Spring Framework.
  • Proficiency in SOA Web Services, RESTful services, and GraphQL.
  • Strong knowledge of React (UI/UX) and/or Angular (UI/UX) and core principles, as well as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and state management libraries.
  • Knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache), and UI/UX design principles.
  • Familiarity with the modern development stack, including languages and technologies like Kotlin or Java 8+, TypeScript, React or Angular 2+, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and rapid production delivery.
  • Experience with at least one cloud platform, such as AWS or Azure.
  • Understanding of various Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to write high-quality unit and end-to-end tests, as well as to debug and optimize both new and existing code.
• Required Experience:
  • Extensive experience in Software Applications Engineering, Software Development, or related fields.
  • Advanced experience with programming languages and frameworks, including (but not limited to) Java, Spring Boot, React, Microservices, REST, GraphQL, SQL, NoSQL, Graph DB, Redux, RESTful services, JWT, Axios, and Jest.
  • Proficient in Linux or Unix and Windows operating systems.
  • Strong experience with SQL.
  • Significant project management experience and/or experience in Agile environments.
