Key Responsibilities:
Follow detailed instructions to design and develop solutions and functionalities that support business growth.
Assist in writing and testing code to ensure software quality and performance.
Participate in the execution of automated testing to validate software functionality.
Collaborate with stakeholders to contribute to software deployment processes.
Work with the product team to deliver software components in alignment with project requirements.
Support integration and solution development through automation and coding, including the use of third-party software.
Follow detailed guidance to design, build, and debug large-scale distributed systems.
Assist in writing, updating, and maintaining technical programs, end-user documentation, and operational procedures.
Contribute to refactoring code to improve maintainability and efficiency.
Support the review of code written by other developers to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Knowledge and Attributes:
Basic understanding of cloud architecture and services across multiple public cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Office 365.
Developing expertise in programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Node.js, along with associated libraries and frameworks.
Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software design, complemented by strong analytical and debugging skills.
Knowledge of microservices-based software architecture and experience in API product development.
Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
Basic familiarity with container runtimes like Kubernetes, Docker, and LXC/LXD.
Exposure to Agile and Lean practices, with an understanding of test-driven development.
Demonstrates a proactive, can-do attitude with a strong sense of initiative.
Ability to work effectively in a diverse team with varying backgrounds and experience levels.
Capable of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools.
Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and deployment processes.
Excellent attention to detail.
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals certification is preferred.
Relevant Agile certifications are a plus.
Required Experience:
Entry-level experience collaborating with geo-distributed teams through innovation, bootstrapping, pilot, and production phases, ensuring high quality and performance standards.
Familiarity with tools used across the full software delivery lifecycle, including IDEs, source control, CI tools, testing, mocking, work tracking, and defect management.
Exposure to Agile and Lean methodologies, Continuous Delivery/DevOps, and data-driven processes.
Familiarity with large datasets and the application of appropriate ML/AI algorithms.
Entry-level experience in developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
Basic experience in software development processes.
