Job Description
Natwest Group is seeking candidates for the position of Software Engineer, AVP.
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Developing high-quality software that enhances business value.
- Collaborating within permanent teams responsible for the complete life cycle, including initial development, enhancement, maintenance, and replacement or decommissioning.
- Optimizing software engineering capability through effective collaboration.
- Designing, producing, testing, and implementing functional code.
- Working across the entire life cycle, from requirements analysis and design to coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, PL SQL, Oracle, Spring Boot, MVC, JPA, Hibernate, Maven, and design patterns.
- Coding experience in multiple programming languages.
- Familiarity with microservices, REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
- Understanding of IAM, authentication and authorization, gateways, load balancers, and PCF cloud.
- Experience in implementing programming best practices, especially related to scalability, automation, virtualization, optimization, availability, and performance.
