Molex Off Campus Hiring – Graduate Engineer Trainee

Job Designation

• Graduate Engineer Trainee

Team

• Part of Molex – GES

• Create Material Master for various material types in SAP
• Collaborate with plants to complete Material Master, BOM, and Compliance activities in SAP
• Analyze NX CAD drawings/models and load Engineering/Universal Bill of Materials (BOM) into SAP
• Engage with Data Stewards, Industrial Engineers, and stakeholders in Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Finance
• Plan, prioritize, solve problems, report progress, execute project objectives, and meet deadlines
• Monitor quality and delivery of outputs, and implement process corrections as needed
• Audit parts in SAP for completeness of material status and product compliance documents
• Perform mass data loading into SAP using LSMW, batch processing, VBA/Macros, etc.

Qualifications

• B-Tech/B.E in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, or related fields
• 0 to 1 year of experience in SAP MM or PP modules

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in SAP MM & PP modules
• Strong engineering background
• Excellent skills in reading drawings
• Preferable knowledge of Teamcenter PLM software
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical properties of products
• Familiarity with routing, work centers, and product costing in SAP Production Planning module
• Basic knowledge of regulatory compliance regulations (REACH or RoHS directives) and chemical compositions
• Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• VBA/Macro scripting skills are an advantage
• Python scripting knowledge with NumPy and Pandas libraries is a significant advantage
• Strong technical communication and interaction skills
• Ability to quickly grasp concepts and provide effective solutions
• Understanding of product development processes
• Self-driven and quick learner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using systematic tools (8D, fishbone, cause/effect diagrams)
• Alignment with PBM principles
