Job Description
Maxwell Off Campus Hiring 2024 – Graduate Engineer Trainee
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of Maxwell’s Battery Management System (BMS) solutions and the broader electric vehicle (EV) battery landscape.
- Leverage your knowledge of embedded systems, digital and analog electronics, and communication protocols to design, develop, and optimize BMS solutions.
- Apply expertise in communication protocols such as CAN, J1939, SPI, and proficiency in Embedded C and JSON for implementing effective BMS functionalities.
- Develop strong communication and analytical abilities to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely solutions for BMS-related challenges.
- Stay informed about industry standards and regulations (such as ISO26262, UL standards, and AIS) to ensure compliance and maintain high-quality standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BMS design methodologies, processes, and best practices within the organization.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in EV battery management technologies.
Hardware Engineering (Location: Mumbai):
- Design and develop digital and analog electronics for BMS control boards utilizing advanced tools like Altium, TRM, and others.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of control boards, from specification to design, prototyping, and manufacturing.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing teams.
- Work on power electronics components to manage heat dissipation, EMI/EMC, and other related challenges.
Test and Validation Engineering (Location: Bangalore):
- Engage in all stages of product development, with a strong emphasis on product quality through rigorous testing and validation at various project phases.
- Implement systematic testing methodologies to ensure the product meets customer functional requirements, industry standards, and legal compliances.
- Utilize state-of-the-art Hardware-in-Loop systems to enhance testing reliability and reduce testing times.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field, with graduation expected in 2024.
- Strong proficiency in embedded system engineering, digital and analog electronics, and communication protocols (such as CAN, J1939, and SPI).
- Advanced programming skills in Embedded C and familiarity with JSON for data exchange and Python for data parsing and analysis.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with industry standards like ISO26262, UL standards, and AIS is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Self-driven with a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.
- Competency in requirement elicitation, technical negotiation, and stakeholder management.
