Key Responsibilities:
Develop workflows and macros in Alteryx to perform data transformations and apply business rules effectively.
Build high-level and detailed validations using Alteryx to ensure data quality and instill user confidence in datasets.
Utilize MS Excel and MS PowerPoint to capture insights and present findings to customers in a clear and impactful manner.
Organize and participate in customer discussions to address data quality issues and contribute to devising business rules for resolution.
Write and debug SQL queries to extract datasets from Data Warehouses and other relational databases.
Collaborate with Essbase developers to align data feed structures with the dimensionality of the application.
Support the Essbase development team by testing data loaded into the application and identifying issues during sanity checks.
Partner with customers during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase and collaborate with the development team to resolve data and application issues identified during UAT.
Serve as a Level 2 resource, with expertise in analyzing data and navigating process flows to identify and address breaks.
Liaise with internal teams in MasterCard Operations and Technology to ensure solutions comply with MasterCard technical standards, including adhering to change management and new development requirements.
Exhibit strong skills in metadata management, data transformation, manipulation, and reporting, preferably in a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) environment. Prior FP&A experience is preferred for productive stakeholder engagement.
Demonstrate proficiency in Alteryx, SQL, Power BI, and advanced MS Excel, along with experience in project management.
Eligibility Criteria:
Strong understanding of Windows and Linux server environments.
Good knowledge of SQL Server or Oracle Database systems.
Demonstrated commitment to developing, testing, and ensuring the quality of data workflows.
Proficiency in debugging and analyzing workflows developed by team members.
Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment, maintaining responsiveness to business needs.
Comfortable working as part of the Finance organization, with a hands-on, proactive approach to tasks.
