Responsibilities:
- Gain an understanding of ongoing software changes and evaluate their functionality and impact.
- Utilize the software as intended to assess its functional capabilities.
- Develop both manual and automated test procedures to thoroughly assess each software product.
- Create and execute test cases to ensure software performs as expected.
- Run testing protocols to confirm the accuracy of software evaluation.
- Take ownership of the quality assurance process for various features.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of computer science basics, networking, HTTP, web servers, and web applications.
- Proficiency in debugging and familiarity with programming languages.
- Skilled in gathering data and generating comprehensive test reports.
- Ability to design and write detailed software testing procedures.
