As a Junior QA Tester for Kwalee’s PC Console games, you will play a crucial role in testing, identifying, and documenting bugs to ensure high-quality game releases within the designated time frame. The QA team at Kwalee possesses a keen eye for detail and resourcefulness in uncovering and rectifying flaws independently.
Your responsibilities will include working collaboratively with your team to test specific video game titles, meticulously examining each game to identify and report any issues or bugs, and documenting them in a bug database. You will also work closely with the development team, assigning and resolving issues to ensure a seamless gaming experience. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of games by providing suggestions and feedback to designers, artists, and programmers.
To excel in this role, you will need strong critical thinking skills to identify and analyze issues and bugs effectively. Excellent communication skills in English will allow you to articulate identified issues clearly and concisely. A methodical, scientific, and analytical mindset will aid in your testing approach. A solid understanding of PC, Console, and Mobile platforms, both in terms of hardware and software, is essential. A genuine passion for games and a high level of proficiency in using spreadsheets, MS Office, and PC and internet applications are desired. You should also be adept at collaborating with other team members, adapt to changes in project requirements and instructions, and be willing to work in shifts as needed.
