Job Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases and identify defects, ensuring the software meets specified requirements and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and usability testing to validate software functionality and user experience.
- Document test results, track defects, and provide detailed reports to the development team.
- articipate in test case reviews, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting test automation opportunities.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of test data and test environments.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing methodologies and tools.
Required Skill Set
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in Android/iOS Mobile Application Testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and processes (Agile).
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques, including test case design and execution.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools.
- Knowledge of programming languages and scripting is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- ISTQB certification or any relevant software testing certifications are plus.
