Job Description:
Seeking Graphics Software Development/Validation Engineers focused on ensuring the robustness and quality of IP offerings and preventing issues for customers.
Ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities include:
Leading and integrating critical graphics features for VTT Software and Intel.
Ensuring Graphics SW feature health from pre-silicon to post-silicon, emphasizing functionality, power/performance, and critical debugging.
Understanding feature architecture and driving validation across Concurrency, reliability/Stress, and Interoperability, with a focus on power/performance using scalable/automated infrastructure.
Participating in feature summits/task forces, aiding customers in productizing graphics features across Windows and Android.
Understanding OS architecture, GEN graphics architecture, software architecture, and power/performance goals for E2E Display, Media, 3D, Compute, and UX.
Developing and enabling Machine Learning/Deep Learning and Media Workloads on next-gen Graphics Platforms.
Triage and Debug of E2E test failures, collaborating with software and hardware development teams.
Collaborating with key partners in software and hardware architecture, development, debug, validation, and silicon validation.
Providing internal and external feedback to implement upcoming graphics features in OSes and designing/developing/implementing graphics system-level software for future platforms.
Developing automation tests, executing tests, and reporting issues.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages, particularly C++ or Python.
Ability to comprehend complex software systems and basics of Operating systems.
Prior experience in debugging software and understanding software development practices.
Solid knowledge of Git/GitHub.
