Your Role and Responsibilities Responsibilities encompass (yet are not confined to):

  1. Collaborating with System Administrators and Developers from leading companies across diverse industries such as banking, commerce, insurance, social media, transportation, and government.
  2. Delivering remote technical support to clients utilizing Problem Determination (PD) and Problem Source Identification (PSI) skills, deciphering product traces and logs to resolve intricate technical issues.
  3. Formulating recommendations for problem resolution, with clear communication of action plans to clients, ensuring satisfaction with the steps taken towards resolution or identification of the problem’s root cause.
  4. Our engineers continually sharpen their technological prowess by driving problem resolution through enhancements to existing or novel technical support tools and procedures. This may involve scrutinizing source code, offering feedback to development for product improvement, creating test cases, developing tools, or supplying debug modules to clients.
  5. Flexibility to work during weekends or off-shift hours as dictated by business demand.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  1. Qualification in Information Technology.
  2. Outstanding communication and soft skills.
  3. Highly organized with the ability to execute administrative tasks and adhere to processes.
  4. Proficient in software troubleshooting and diagnostics.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  1. Master’s Degree in Information Technology.
  2. Expertise in problem analysis, involving recreation of problems and utilization of system dumps and traces.
  3. Knowledge in diagnosis and debugging of Distributed/UNIX/Linux operating systems.
  4. Proficiency in diagnosis and debugging technologies related to Java.
  5. Experience in Application and Web Server administration and implementation, encompassing related technologies like XML, Connectors, EJB, JSP, Servlets, Security, and Web services.
  6. Familiarity with customer support processes.
