Key Responsibilities for Analyst:

  • Analyze and interpret business requirements to develop sustainable data solutions.
  • Establish and maintain a centralized Business Data Glossary for enterprise-wide usage.
  • Produce conceptual and logical data models adhering to HSBC’s Metadata methodology.
  • Document data standards, Business, and Data Quality Rules comprehensively.
  • Provide support for HSBC’s Data Management Framework by offering data governance services.
  • Create self-service visualization tools leveraging RDF Knowledge Graph to extract insights.
  • Advise both business and IT stakeholders on utilizing Knowledge Graph for lineage establishment and Trusted Sources determination.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend metadata governance needs and arrange meetings with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Data Governors.
  • Facilitate the incorporation of critical datasets into the Governance framework utilizing group strategic tools like COLLIBRA.
  • Develop, sustain, and enhance meta-models for data, supporting essential processes.
  • Coordinate interactions with Business and IT teams to assist in metadata analysis and documentation.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a reputable university, specializing in a numerical discipline, with a focus on computer science, information systems, or related engineering fields.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Conceptual/Logical Data Modeling and exposure to Data Governance, Metadata Management, and implementing Data Quality assessments and controls using Collibra.
  • Exhibit advanced knowledge in Data Modeling and Metadata management.
  • Preferably have an understanding of Graph Databases/Knowledge Graph.
  • Display in-depth knowledge of data management frameworks, including data governance, data privacy, business architecture, and data quality.
  • Showcase strong analytical skills with an aptitude for business analysis.
  • Ability to comprehend complex and diverse business problems and analyze them using limited or complex data to provide feasible solution frameworks.
  • Experience working on Data/Information Management projects of varying complexities.
