HBC Off Campus Hiring 2024 – Trainee, Buying Operations
Position Overview:
Join Saks in ensuring that our Store and Online customers receive top-quality, trend-forward luxury merchandise. Your role will involve executing various supply chain tasks to guarantee that the right products reach the stores on time. You’ll also collaborate with a diverse group of Buyers & Planners from Saks U.S. and Canada headquarters, as well as renowned global brands, to transform ideas into outstanding merchandise.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Set up Item Master Data within Saks’ internal systems.
- Create and manage Purchase Orders using in-house tools.
- Ensure timely transmission of Purchase Orders to vendors.
- Collaborate with Buying Offices, Planners, and Vendors.
- Develop and document best practices.
- Serve as a liaison between U.S. Buying offices, vendors, and the Leadership team.
- Maintain the workflow dashboard and report on business metrics.
- Undertake specific tasks and special projects as assigned.
As a Trainee in Buying Operations, You Will:
