Good exposure to MySQL and writing SQLqueriesAutomation scripting: More advanced tools preferred; Ex: Python, Shell

A prior experience in production support.
Understanding of linux/unix basic commands and job scheduling (cron)
Good to have prior programming experience; Java preferred
Good written and oral communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities (What you’ll do):
Develop a deep understanding of internal application behavior and tech operations across data centers and applications
Analyze problems, diagnose and fix bugs of low complexity when appropriate.
Work with developers to identify and resolve more complicated problems
Address urgent issues quickly, work within and measure against customer SLAs
Adapt installer, shell scripts and perl scripts and aggressively automate manual tasks through scripting.
Provide feedback from customer/ users to the team. Finding recurring issues, problem solve and get it fixed.
Maintain on-going record of problem analysis and resolution activity in an oncall tracking system.
Proactively monitors production and non-production environments and applications
Develop smaller complexity features and utilities in existing system components to enhance productivity.
