Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Linux-based embedded software, including platform components and applications. Address and troubleshoot technical challenges effectively.
- Apply Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns, and C++ coding principles to software development tasks.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency and leverage shared software platforms for greater synergy.
- Adhere to SDLC processes during the stages of requirements gathering, architectural design, implementation, and verification.
- Actively contribute to an Agile Scrum team, focusing on continuous improvement of team performance.
- Complete all assigned Quality & Compliance training within the specified timelines. Report any quality or compliance concerns immediately and take corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure that all regulatory and quality requirements are met before approving design outputs or program deliverables.
- Take responsibility for software quality, including performing unit testing and system verification.
Qualifications & Essential Skills
- Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor’s program or pursuing a Master’s degree in a relevant Engineering field, preferably in Electronics or Software.
- Proficient in C and C++ programming languages.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python.
- Familiarity with generative AI concepts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Desired Skills
- Previous industry experience is an advantage.
- Proficiency with version control tools like Git.
- Knowledge of ARM-based processor architectures and familiarity with USB, Flash, LAN, WLAN, and Bluetooth technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in situations involving conflicting requirements, business demands, and technical challenges.
- Experience with Eclipse and GitLab.
- Hands-on experience with UI development using QML.
- Working knowledge of Python and experience in automating integration testing using test frameworks like Squish.
