Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in hands-on Linux-based embedded software development, delivering platform components, application development, and resolving technical issues.
  • Apply strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns, and C++ coding principles.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency and leverage synergies across common software platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process during requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, and verification.
  • Work effectively within an Agile scrum team, continuously striving to improve team performance.
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the specified deadlines, identify and report any quality or compliance concerns, and take immediate corrective action when necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality requirements before approving design outputs or program deliverables.
  • Take responsibility for software quality, including conducting unit testing and system verification.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Currently in the 3rd or 4th year of a college graduate program, or holding a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline (preferably Electronics or Software).
  • Proficient in C and C++ programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with Shell, Perl, or Python scripting.
  • Understanding of generative AI concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred skills:

  • Prior industry experience is preferred.
  • Expertise in using source control tools.
  • Hardware knowledge, particularly with ARM-based processor architecture, and familiarity with USB, Flash, LAN, WLAN, and Bluetooth technologies.
  • Creative problem solver and solution developer when faced with conflicting requirements, business demands, and technical risks/issues.
  • Experience with Eclipse and GITLAB.
  • Hands-on experience with UI development using QML.
  • Working knowledge of Python and the ability to automate integration testing using test frameworks like Squish.
