Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design, development, and implementation of automated test scripts for mobile and web-based applications.
• Assist in drafting and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test datasets for both new and existing software solutions.
• Collaborate with developers to understand project requirements and design effective testing strategies.
• Conduct manual testing for scenarios unsuitable for automation and document issues or defects.
• Aid in diagnosing and resolving performance-related issues within applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure software quality and adherence to testing standards.
• Help build frameworks and tools to streamline repetitive testing processes.
• Work closely with QA Engineers and development teams to achieve comprehensive test coverage.
• Engage in learning activities to improve technical expertise and testing proficiency.
• Share regular updates with team leads and stakeholders regarding the progress of testing activities.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, with expected graduation in 2024.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit) is desirable.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or Git is advantageous.
• Good grasp of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing principles.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented setting and take a proactive approach to learning.
• Keen attention to detail and a passion for ensuring software quality.
