Job Title: Junior Application Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Application Developer with 0 to 2 years of experience in web application development. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn and contribute to front-end development tasks using technologies such as PHP, Core Java, JSP/Servlets, and Oracle APEX. There is an ongoing need for developers to work on creating web applications with backend database integration. A basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and enhance existing web-based and desktop client/server database applications.
• Design and implement new features, taking projects from concept to completion.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines and deliver quality results.
• Stay updated on technological advancements and assist with upgrades to tools and frameworks.
• Take ownership of assigned features and complete tasks with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Optimize web applications for better performance, scalability, and security.
• Create thorough documentation for developed applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, and JSP/Servlets.
• Foundational understanding of Oracle databases, including SQL and PL/SQL (preferred but not mandatory).
• A strong interest in learning Oracle EBS applications and Oracle APEX is an advantage.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Effective communication skills, coupled with a positive attitude and willingness to contribute to team success.
