Job Summary: The Engineer – Test position will be based in Bangalore.

Here is an overview of your responsibilities:

• Managing customer inquiries for both Electronics and mechanical SKU units.
• Overseeing third-party repair activities.
• Handling testing, process, and New Product Introduction (NPI) tasks.
• Providing guidance to team members regarding workload distribution.
• Conducting, validating, and submitting First Article Inspection (FAI) reports to customers for NPI approval.
• Analyzing scrap materials and offering technical support to the production team.
• Collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders on yield improvement projects.
• Developing NPI plans based on customer input data and presenting them in weekly meetings.
• Planning Bill of Materials (BOM) and necessary components for NPI.
• Obtaining quotations from suppliers for required components, tools, and equipment.
• Validating cycle times.
• Leading NPI initiatives and overseeing activities involving all stakeholders.
• Validating newly developed repair procedures and seeking customer approval.
• Monitoring Engineering Change Order (ECO) details and providing data breakdowns to the team.
• Compiling Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data and presenting it to customers.
• Presenting reports on investigations into Dead on Arrival (DOA) cases to customers.
• Conducting studies on No Fault Found (NFF), scrap reduction, FAI, ECO, DOA, and cannibalism.
• Coordinating with customers and suppliers for repair/service adhering to company policies.
• Providing technical support and assistance to Mexico Flex.
