Key Responsibilities:
Delivering excellence in Data Engineering throughout the entire lifecycle of complex projects and programs for Dyson.
Reviewing technical designs and offering constructive feedback.
Designing and constructing end-to-end data solutions tailored for analytics purposes.
Transferring existing pipelines onto the designated platform.
Participating in deployment and testing activities, demonstrating hands-on engineering and automation skills, including CI/CD/CD and a DataOps mindset.
Quickly adapting to changing requirements and demonstrating flexibility to work with various technologies as needed.
Developing and maintaining data pipelines within a Backend/Distributed Data Systems team while actively remaining hands-on.
Enhancing data quality and reliability.
Improving data lineage and governance.
Advancing standards and best practices for the platform and ensuring operational excellence.
Upholding a culture of thorough documentation.
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree
Preferred skills:
Possess 1-2 years of pertinent experience.
Demonstrate the ability to write clear code that is easily comprehensible to others.
Capable of understanding and enhancing legacy code.
Identify and create abstractions and tools to address recurring challenges.
Apply best practices and establish consistent ways of working within our global data engineering team.
