Job Title: Junior Associate Software Engineer (Analyst)
Role Overview:
As a Junior Associate Software Engineer, you will be involved in the development, coding, and configuration of product features within an Agile team environment. Your responsibilities will also include identifying and fixing software issues of low to moderate complexity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior software engineers to design, code, and configure features and bug fixes.
- Implement solutions for straightforward Agile stories, working under the close supervision of a senior engineer.
- Debug and resolve software issues, focusing on identifying the root cause and implementing fixes that avoid additional problems.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for new features, bug fixes, and DevOps scenarios.
- Manage basic source code tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Adhere to established development standards and participate in code reviews to present technical solutions to peers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E./B.Tech) or an equivalent foreign qualification in Computer Science Engineering, with a CGPA of 7.5 or higher (equivalent to 70% or more).
- Experience: No prior work experience required, although up to one year of experience or relevant internships is preferred.
- Industry certifications or bootcamp experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming with languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with XML/JSON and front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML5).
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts and methodologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to manage time effectively, communicate well within a team, and work independently with guidance.
Location and Work Authorization:
- Candidates must be based in India and legally authorized to work in the country.
- The position will begin on January 6, 2025, with no exceptions.
- The first two weeks of the role will require physical presence at our Mumbai office for program kickoff and in-person training.
